About the event
Legend has it that La Befana, a Good Witch, was asked to help guide the Three Wisemen to the Baby Jesus after his Birth on Christmas Day for their arrival on the Epiphany. She refused, saying that she had to continue cleaning in lieu of assisting them. Changing her mind, La Befana has roamed looking for the Three Wisemen again as well as the Baby Jesus. Along the way, she leaves gifts for the children of Italy on the celebration of the Epiphany.
The Italian American Cultural Club is hosting a celebration of La Befana for children to learn about the story, to meet La Befana, and celebrate in the bringing of the gifts that the Three Wisemen did to the Baby Jesus.
This event is sponsored by the Italian American Cultural Club and is free of charge to those attending. However, a Reservation is required in order to appropriately prepare for the event.
