"Keeping the Culture Alive!"

In 1925, the Italian American Cultural Club was formed under the name of the "Steubenville Dramatic Club," bringing theatrical performances to the Steubenville, Ohio area from the Italian culture in order to bridge the gap of the multitude of new Italian Americans in that area.

Through the years, the focus and programs of the Italian American Cultural Club has changed, but with one common theme - to "Keep The Culture Alive" in the Upper Ohio Valley through all of its programs. In present day, the IACC completes that mission through programming for children and young adults, either to learn the Italian culture of their ancestors or to assist them in the furtherance of their education in higher education.

Along with its programming, the IACC operates as a social organization for its members as well, being a space where those can celebrate their Italian heritage through monthly meals, cultural presentations, and entertainment presentations.
